Amongst 300 square miles of Galloway Forest Park follow the Red Deer Range Trail, then explore the waymarked Red Squirrel Trail in Dalbeattie Forest. During summer spot minke whales and grey seals off the coast at RSPB Mull of Galloway.
With over 100 events, many free and most hosted by local wildlife guides, our Wild Spring Festival 5 April – 5 May is perfect for wildlife fans. During Wild Autumn Festival 11 October – 2 November see marvels including tens of thousands of barnacle geese arriving to winter.
