After Koga, my friend and I went to the Dazaifu area to look for Brown Boobok and Japanese Paradise Flycatcher.<\/p>\n

Although it was too early for the owls, we could get the rare chance to see a pair of Japanese Paradise Flycatchers building a nest with cedar bark, moss and spider webs!<\/p>\n

It was extremely difficult to photograph from our position on the road, with just a tiny gap between branches and leaves to work with. Still, a few photos of the male came out reasonably well.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
