I ended the previous post on Tadoba with the fleeting image of Matkasur, the dominant Tiger of Tadoba\u2019s core zone. I wished he had surfaced earlier, when there was more light.<\/p>\n

Having said that, I reminded myself that it was a wild Tiger in its territory and any sighting happens by chance. I consoled myself that in the remaining safaris, we might spot him again.<\/p>\n

I was pleasantly surprised when we spotted him again at arm\u2019s length, the very next morning, and this time in perfect light! Here are a series of pictures from that sighting.<\/p>\n
