Wildlife photography can inspire people or make them think, and it can also make them feel something.<\/p>\n

In some cases, it can make people feel sad. In others, it can make them smile\u2014or even make them laugh.<\/p>\n

The Nature Conservancy (TNC) recently shared a post on Instagram compiling several photos of grumpy owls by different wildlife photographers.<\/p>\n

The owls\u2019 faces are so intense while somehow also being cute that it\u2019s sure to leave you smiling (or scared).<\/p>\n

The impetus behind TNC\u2019s post is encouraging people to vote, but the owls steal the show with their scowls. The post reads:<\/p>\n

\u201cLegal team: You can\u2019t force people into supporting nature.
\nMe: Got it. I can\u2019t. But owls can.\u201d<\/p>\n

The owls really do look serious, like they\u2019re watching you even when you sleep. The carousel post includes six owl photos, and each one will convince you that owls don\u2019t mess around.<\/p>\n
