After spending the warm days gathering pollen and drinking nectar they decide to spend the night on their dinner plate. I found three earwigs and a bumble bee on a mature sunflower atop an 8-foot tall stalk right in the middle of the city.<\/p>\n<p>Think of how it efficient it is for insects to dine until dark and then sleep through their cold, immobile hours to await the sun&#8217;s warmth to rouse them the next day. They awake with their breakfast right under their noses. Well, that is if they had noses.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"none\">\n<p class=\"none\" style=\"clear:both;\"><figure class=\"thumbnail wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 610px\"><a
