Anna’s Hummingbirds (Calpte anna) are still buzzing around our garden. We usually have some hummingbirds that remain here during the winter so I leave my feeders up until I don’t see any hummers for several weeks. Click on photos for full sized images.<\/p>\n

This female was feeding at a Cardinal Climber (Ipomoea quamoclit pennata) my wife planted along the garden fence.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n

Hummingbird feeders are great, but if you want birds in your yard year round, you will want to plant landscaping that attracts birds.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n
