This is a male moulting into his summer coat and his antlers have just lost the winter velvet. Deers are related to goats, hence the latin name capreolus; one can notice that the antlers are pointed backward to allow him to penetrated dense bushes, unlike stags. The pics are not reframed:<\/p>\n<p>Des bois neufs &#8211; Apr\u00e8s quelques aff\u00fbts sans r\u00e9sultats, voici un brocard venant tout juste de perdre son velours, la couleur orang\u00e9e en t\u00e9moigne. D&#8217;ailleurs son pelage montre \u00e9galement qu&#8217;il est pleine mue. Ses bois sont bien perl\u00e9s et r\u00e9guliers, ce qui est assez rare. Apparent\u00e9 \u00e0 la ch\u00e8vre (d&#8217;o\u00f9 son nom latin: capreolus) on peut remarquer que les andouillers (ou pointes) sont port\u00e9es vers l&#8217;arri\u00e8re pour lui permettre de passer dans les taillis et ronciers denses, contrairement au cerf.
