I have been few times in the garden hide this winter, the migratory species being quite absent but this time I decided to play with this mischievous robin well decided not to have his picture taken… His eyes were locked on the lens and he moved extremely fast, perching on the stone, steeling a maggot and taken off, the whole action in half a second!

Two days later, another Robin turns up with a grey patch right in the middle of its orange bib… Rather surprising! The beginning of its spring molt, nest building on the way or fight with another robin? In any case, it reminds me of parrots plucking their feathers and that is usually where they start!
