A lifelong birder and photographer, slow to move from film to digital and wish I'd done it a whole lot sooner. Based in the the north-east of England I travel extensively both at home and abroad. I continue to work as a family doctor, play in a band and be a hands-on grandad so it's a mystery how I ever get the time to take photos. I am moving more & more from point and shoot to photo set-ups now. That might be an age thing!
