Stephen Tabone

Stephen Tabone is a retired Department of Defense Senior Executive, who since retiring in 2003, has been renewing his passion for photography. His interest in photography began when he purchased his first SLR while overseas in the Army many years ago. There, he also learned to process his images in a darkroom on post. Now in semi-retirement, Stephen’s love for Nature’s spectacular beauty has inspired him to renew his interest in photography. Photography provides a window into the beauty he experiences and a means to share it with others. His photographs have been used in corporate offices, conservation and preservation fundraisers, nature-based educational programs and permanent displays, various published and on-line books and publications, and in a permanent exhibit in a Florida museum. Stephen enjoys the technical aspects, challenges and rewards of digital photography and the digital darkroom. He strictly uses Nikon camera bodies and lenses, and processes his images in Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS6.
