A man in New York state had two pet dogs. But he apparently tied them up without food and water and simply… left them there, like that, to suffer.

In fact, he left them in this condition for so long that by the time authorities discovered the situation, one dog had already passed away.
Even worse: the dog had been dead for so long that his body was almost fully decomposed.
Experts couldn’t even perform a necropsy to understand what had happened to the poor pet because his corpse had decayed so severely.
The second animal was an aging, senior dog who was also malnourished, dehydrated, and emaciated. On top of that, since he was chained up, he’d been unable to sufficiently move. His body was showing signs of muscle atrophy and infections.
The man has been arrested on animal abuse charges, but we must make sure that whatever happens, he never gets his hands on animals again.
Sign the petition to keep other pets safe! This man has clearly shown he is not willing or able to care for animals who depend on us for their well-being.
