This is the second part in a three part series where I cover the winter paradise (Kutch) in India.
For the earlier post please visit Kutch Part I.
Here are a few more images of the stunning Raptors that make this area their home during the winter months.
A young Imperial Eagles in the grasslands, looks like a kid that has done something really stupid 🙂
A difficult chap to get close to but Kutch does give a lot of chances to hone ones skills in getting close to this one.
The grasslands of Kutch are a splendid area for Harriers and observing them go about their daily chores
The Osprey is difficult to be associated with the barren landscape of Kutch, but the shallow lakes that dot this barren landscape are a haven for waterfowl and raptors that are found around fresh water and the Osprey is one of them
A Montagus harrier Scans the Grasslands giving me a good chance to click something different
The Elusive Raptor from Kutch. This small and elusive raptor is a prize catch and I have had the pleasure of spending a lot of hours on the field with these guys
