Douglas Trent

I am an American ecologist living in Brazil, and a founder of the rainforest conservation movement. I created Focus Tours to use as a tool to preserve nature and alleviate poverty. I am a Canon professional photographer (CPS), and am also doing jaguar research with Brazil's national parks department, using photography and GPS to establish the base population for jaguars on the Paraguay River, Pantanal, Brazil. I have a community development project with the state parks of Minas Gerais state, via the Sec. of the Environment, and will be photo-documenting the wildlife of the state parks and surrounding RPPN private reserves.
