Anas creacca – Pictures taken from a hide tent on the edge of this water dam where I live in the South of France. The afternoon light was limit that day, the reflection of a grey sky in the water gave quite a particular ambiance.
These ducks got closer to me but regrettably stayed in a grassy area. In the next publication you will find them in a very different light, fortunately! They are rather inactive during the day and they rarely stretched their wings although I spent 7 hours hidden to observe them, the price to pay and the only way to take portraits but with no guaranty they’ll come close!
