Baby Seal Does “Crazy Flops” In Cute Video

There are few things in this world cuter than a baby seal! An adorable video showing one rescued cutie is going viral.

Posted by Eden Willmott, a seal rescuer in the U.K, to the account @sealrescuer, the video shows a baby harbor seal hurrying to greet her in anticipation of their morning bath.

The seal’s “crazy flops” can be seen as they spot Eden, and quickly bounces their way towards the camera. Captioned “Sound on for crazy flops!,” the video has been liked nearly two million times.

Harbor seals such as this adorable baby face many threats. Entanglement, harassment, and pollution pose serious threats to these seals according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Harbor seals live near the coastline which also makes them especially susceptible to habitat loss. If you see a harbor seal, call a local wildlife center to see what you should do.

Do not approach or harass the seal. Seal moms may abandon their pups if they are harassed by other animals or humans.

Since the baby seals are too weak to survive without their mothers, this places them in serious danger.
