Frustrated Mama Bear Tosses Her Cub Across The Road

Being a parent can be challenging, and that’s not just true for humans but for animals as well!

There’s a reason that human mothers are often referred to as “mama bears” and it’s because of the protective and caring nature of mother bears – and also because of the human-like parenting challenges they face.

Bear cubs can be quite a handful. They’re playful, cuddly, and incredibly curious about the world around them.

Much like human kids, bear cubs can also get into mischief and cause grief for their mothers. Just take the bears in the video below.

The clip, filmed in Anchorage, Alaska, shows a bear trying to cross the road with her cub in tow. However, it seems that her cub isn’t cooperating very well because the mother ends up picking the cub up and tossing it across the road!

Mama bears don’t play, and this mama wanted herself and her cub to get to the safety of the woods across the street ASAP. So, she did whatever she had to do to make that happen, even if it meant man-handling her cub a little bit.

After being tossed across the main stretch of road, the little cub followed the mama bear across a smaller stretch of road and into the forest.

It’s a moment that parents everywhere can relate to. We may not be bears, but we can understand the frustration and desperation of a parent trying to corral a small child across a busy road!
