Moose Spotted On Roof Of Montana Lodge Munching On Nearby Tree

Big Sky Country, also known as Montana, is home to countless wildlife including moose. Seeing one is a treat for any tourist or local but spotting one on a roof is unheard of – until now.

The Ranch at Rock Creek is a luxury ranch that offers guest a unique experience and amazing views. Part of the lodge is built into the hillside, so the roof is covered in grass and wildflowers. Sometimes wild animals venture out on the roof for a snack.

A large moose was spotted above the Silver Dollar Saloon munching on some leaves off a nearby tree. General Manager Jon Martin captured the awe-inspiring moment and shared the clip on Instagram with the caption, “Our lodge’s living roof doubles as a moose’s edible table.”

The lodge responded with, “Good call. What can we say, they love a whiskey ditch as much as the next guy.”

The moose was not harmed and left the way she came. It was a thrilling experience for all and even inspired some people to want to visit. The lodge said, “We definitely don’t work with moose models but life is wild out here.”

This is not the first moose encounter and will definitely not be the last. Staff have spotted them around the ranch and share their beauty with their fans.
