In early March, an orca named Kiska passed away from a bacterial infection at Marineland in Canada.
The whale, known as “the world’s loneliest orca”, spent more than four decades at Marineland and the last 12 years in complete isolation.
Her story helped inspire activists to help pass a bill in Canada.
This bill bans people from breeding and keeping whales, dolphins, and porpoises in captivity.
However, it’s been reported that many dolphins and whales are still being held captive at Marineland.
Please sign this petition to demand Marineland transfer these marine animals to sanctuaries immediately!

What you can do
Support ‘Fighting for Wildlife’ by donating as little as $1 – It only takes a minute. Thank you.

Fighting for Wildlife supports approved wildlife conservation organizations, which spend at least 80 percent of the money they raise on actual fieldwork, rather than administration and fundraising. When making a donation you can designate for which type of initiative it should be used – wildlife, oceans, forests or climate.
