Petition: Mandate Counseling for Sadistic Men Who Tortured Raccoon to Death

Petition: Mandate Counseling for Sadistic Men Who Tortured Raccoon to Death

Raccoons are highly intelligent critters. In some ways, they’re not that different from us — they even (adorably) wash some of their food before eating it.

But one couple decided instead of admiring adorable raccoons, they would film themselves torturing one.

In the video, one of the perpetrators can be seen pinning down the poor animal with a garden rake.

The raccoon is clearly suffering and in pain. Then, the other perpetrator brutally hits its head with a hammer.

But somehow, it gets worse — they ultimately killed the animal by stabbing it with a sword.

Sign now to tell the McHenry County Authorities to sentence these two people to counseling!

The couple has been sentenced to jail time and community service, but they clearly need counseling, too.

It is not normal or acceptable to be able to inflict this kind of pain and torture on a living, breathing, innocent animal.

It is time for local authorities to ensure these two perpetrators are mandated to attend counseling.
