This Porcupine Was Rescued from an Empty Water Tank by The Forest Department

Animal Rescue India got a call from the forest department about a porcupine that was stuck after falling in an empty water tank.

The forest department and the Animal Rescue India team hurried over to the location with all the necessary equipment and evaluated the area. When they arrived at the location, the first thing they did was examine the animal.

They discovered that he was very active and alert and decided to use a net and a ladder to help get him out safely.

After evaluating him and making sure he wasn’t injured, they released him back into the wild on the spot!

Animal Rescue India is a leading wild/domestic animal rescue organization in Maharashtra, based in Nashik. Their team always strives to help all the injured, sick and abused animals in distress that they can.

They have been working for wildlife conservation for 10 years and are on a mission to help spread awareness about wild and street animals in need.
