Pileated Woodpecker
Pileated Woodpecker photographed near the Ouimet canyon, ON. This resident bird lives on the forest edge and can be heard calling frequently.
Northern Flicker
Taken as the bird launched from a branch. The wings are completely hidden behind the bird.
Eastern Bluebird
This male was photographed at the Arthur Langford nature reserve in Frogmore, Ontario last June. He and the female had a successful brood in a bluebird box located on the property.
Green Heron
At West Yarmouth wetland, near Sparta, Ontario. The bird showed up after 3 hours of sitting in a blind.
