Roe deer in the garden

In the evening of the 4th at 8h30, I saw this deer appear in front of my bedroom french window with his female, lying in the grass behind him. As he looked away, I quickly fetched my camera (Nikon D7200) and the 80/400 mm to take the following pictures. Why complicate things with unsure hides in the countryside when I have this site under my nose?!
