I was seeing this fox once in a while in the garden at different times of the day, mostly at dusk but one morning after coming back from shopping and stuffing my fridge, I saw him right in front of the kitchen door!
This time, I thought “he” might be ‘ripe’ enough to trust me with a camera in hand and low and behold, as he came up to me, I was able to shoot these pictures; at every encounter, I feel a rush of emotion.
On the 06th of march, as I view my pics on the screen, I realise “he” is a “she”…….about to have a litter!
Now she comes more regularly and although she keeps an eye on the camera, she manifests no fear any more:
