Please note that images straight out of your camera with a width or height exceeding 3,000 pixels may cause an error when uploading. The way to solve this is to edit the image in your image processing software and reduce the larger dimension to a maximum of 3,000 pixels.

Thanks SO MUCH for accepting my hand-drawn entry!, here’s the rhyme that “goes” with it…Too far to catch with my ancient camera.
is enacting a real comedy-drama.
A red-headed woodpecker squawks and he raps.
to rouse his grown-up chicks out of their naps!
Rat-tattta-TAT-TAT!, Now Hear this, chicks!
Br-rat-tatta-tat-TAT! Get out and Fly, Quick!
(thunder rumbles and shakes the entire tree.
which certainly makes the chicks duck back in, see? )
SQUAWK!, Now let’s Get a MOVE on.
you chicks need to BE gone.
All woodpeckers know.
(br-rat-tat-tatta-TAT!) When it’s TIME to GO!

🙂
