The abundance of water bodies makes Amboseli National Park a birding paradise. And this particular morning safari was all about birds for us.
This was one of the rare instances when an African Fish Eagle let us get a little closer and made it as the feature subject of this post.

The large flocks of Flamingos in the distance, is another endorsement to this birding paradise. But we just managed a record shot as the Flamingos were at quite a distance on the other side of this water body.

Closer to this side of the bank, a River tern stood still, giving us a beautiful reflection in the calm water.

The Blacksmith Plover was yet another bird species that we were able to capture on camera, as we left it undisturbed and it slowly inched closer to our vehicle.

Finally, it was only when the African Fish eagle flew away did we notice this juvenile White-browed Coucal perched right next to the vehicle at eye-level.
