Owl Steals Child’s Stick Horse and Flys Around Neighborhood in True Halloween Spirit

Hilarious footage of a ‘wicked witch’ owl who stole a stick horse and was flying around the neighborhood has gone viral on Facebook.

Eric Lind posted on Facebook that a young neighborhood owl had stolen a stick horse and was flying around the neighborhood with it. Lind was at his parent’s house in Eureka, Illinois, when he took the now-famous pictures of the owl who has been dubbed a wicked witch.

“Hilldale/Forest Park/Ridge lane neighbors…if your child is missing their stick horse, you’ll have to talk to the owl!!” he wrote.

Lind confirmed that they do not believe the owl is hurt or entangled in the toy because they have seen the owl moving the toy around and changing its grip. He said that this owl is a part of a family of owls that have been in the neighborhood for around 6 months. The owl that is flying around is one of the young owls.

The post has gotten over 100,000 shares and over 5,000 comments.

“His getting ready for Halloween lol,” one user commented.

This owl is getting into the Halloween spirit and brought a good laugh to this neighborhood.
