The Swedish government recently gave hunting licenses so hunters can kill hundreds of lynxes this spring.
These animals are predicted to become “locally extinct” within the next few decades.
Yet the Swedish government is allowing these animals to be killed for no other reason than to be “trophies” on someone’s wall or floor.
This is illegal inside the European Union but it may take a while for them to intervene.
On top of this, these majestic creatures are often brutally killed by hunting dogs.
Please sign this petition to urge Sweden to revoke these licenses and instead to measures in place to protect these vulnerable animals!

What you can do
Support ‘Fighting for Wildlife’ by donating as little as $1 – It only takes a minute. Thank you.

Fighting for Wildlife supports approved wildlife conservation organizations, which spend at least 80 percent of the money they raise on actual fieldwork, rather than administration and fundraising. When making a donation you can designate for which type of initiative it should be used – wildlife, oceans, forests or climate.
