Greetings everyone!At the end of May I headed back to Ontario for a little bit of family time. Of course I brought my camera along to try to pick off a few targets. My parents moved out to eastern Ontario from Toronto a few years back and there are lots of good birds around the area. It is very convenient for bird photography!
It was great to see that there were loads of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks coming to the feeders in my parents backyard. I love a good opportunity to do some feeder set up photography so I spent one morning working on these guys. Also in my parents backyard were a few other target birds like the Veery and Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
I am taking 2013 off from leading this trip so that I can do a bit more of my own exploring and photography. But it will return in 2014. So be sure to send me an email if you would like to be on the “wish list”.
